	The N25 Waterford City Bypass necessitated one of the largest pre-construction archaeological investigation projects undertaken in south-east Ireland.

	Canon Power was not only the author of 'Placenames of the Decies' but also lectured in archaeology in Maynooth and at University College Cork.

	The Commemoration seminar, which celebrates the 150th anniversary of the birth of Canon Power, will take place on Thursday, 8th March 2012 at the T &amp;L Building, WIT, Waterford City.

Stone E and it is the tallest of the five stones. A slate, 
it measures 1.8m in height,0.53m in width and 0.15m in depth.
The inscription reads "DEBRANI &#160;MAQI &#160;ELTI &#160;AVI &#160;OGATOS" and translates as "Grandson of Ogatos"

Stone D is 1.7 m tall. Its inscription reads “NISIGNI MAQI ER”... which translates Nisignos the son of Er... (last name being obliterated).

Stone C has damage to both the top and side resulting in the loss of the beginning and
ending of the inscription. It measures 1.7m in height,0.41 in width and 0.08m in depth.
The remaining inscription reads "MAQI &#160;E - -" meaning Grandson

Stone B&#160; measures 1.7m in height is 0.36m in width and 0.13m in depth.
The bottom of the stone has been damaged with most likely the first letters of the inscription missing. The remaining letters read &#160;“VAGNI &#160;MUCOI &#160;CUNIA" which translates as "Decendant of Cunia".

Stone A is in the centre of the exhibition hall. It is the smallest of the five stones
measuring 1.19m in height.0.37m in wide and 0.05m in
depth. Its inscription reads "- - NA &#160;MAQI &#160;LUGUDECA &#160;MUC- - &#160;CUNEA". - "decendant of  Cunea"
